A Quantum Handshake with John G. Cramer
Cynthia Sue Larson talks with John Cramer about his new book, "The Quantum Handshake," presenting his transactional interpretation model involving a quantum "handshake" through time. John explains how his transactional interpretation clarifies otherwise baffling experimental scientific results, and presents new ways of better understanding quantum theory, shedding new light on the mysteries of entanglement, non-locality, and wave collapse.
John G. Cramer is a Professor Emeritus, Physics, at the University of Washington in Seattle, who served as Director of the University of Washington Nuclear Physics Laboratory. John is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and of the American Physical Society (APS), was Chair of the APS/DNP Nuclear Science Resources Committee, and served on the APS Panel on Public Affairs. Co-Host Mariah Smith Founder of Blankets For the Homeless.org
Mariah Smith was born and abandoned on Christmas Eve 22 years ago, from Homeless to Helper Mariah is the founder of a rapidly growing Homeless ministry. Mariah started this organization in October 2011 when she was 17 and has already distributed over 110,000 blankets and lunches to people living on the streets, as well as coats, hats, gloves, clothes, shoes, backpacks, tents, toiletries and anything else they need she always finds a way to get it for them. Mariah has numerous speaking engagements at schools, businesses, organizations, and every Sunday she speaks at a different church encouraging THOUSANDS to join her on her mission to help as many people as she can. Five nights a week Mariah distributes 50 blankets and lunches along with all the other desperately needed items to people living on the streets not fortunate enough to get into shelters.
I am helping the homeless because I want them to know that someone truly cares. I hope that what we are doing brings awareness to something so tragic...being homeless.
We welcome everyone who wants to help us, there are so many different things that you can do to get the people around you involved, adults can go to their places of employment and ask if they could put a drop box there, teens can go to their principal and ask to have a blanket collection, or a collection of other items that they so desperately need like gloves and back packs. We also have a Facebook page BLANKETS FOR THE HOMELESS HAMPTON ROADS that you could “Like” and “Share” to help us spread the word.
We will come and pick up any items donated and distribute them. We are also asking that everyone make a “Blessing Box” to keep in their car with five non-perishable lunches, blankets, clothes, hats, gloves, toiletries, and other desperately needed items so you can immediately help someone in need. You can make a difference! We all can!

Robert Salas author of Unidentified: The UFO Phenomenon. Robert offers personal and extensive testimony and documentation by military officers and airmen of their eyewitness accounts of UFO occurrences, alien abductions and threats to military installations. Robert Salas a graduate of the USAF Academy with a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering now retired from a career in the Air Force has conducted massive research and will discuss 6 decades of hair raising UFO occurrences and provide ample evidence that the government and military have maintained secrecy and distortions of this truth. His objective I believe is to understand the possibilities for achieving a more humane and cooperative world community by revealing information that could be vital for moving forward towards progress and peace and a Universal view of possibilities for looking beyond.

Friday Jan 01, 2016
Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #194 is recorded on a temperate, sunny late November day at Singing Bridge Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts. Today we feature a series of compelling songs and improvisations featuring The Gaea Star Band: Mariam Massaro on vocals, acoustic guitar, native flute, sitar and percussion, Robert Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and marimba. Our first piece today is Mariam’s deep, tranquil “Into The Forest”, a series of sunny harmonic variations framing Mariam’s fantastical nature poetry. Craig Harris brings both steady, warm conga textures and driving marimba to this gorgeous piece. The lush and wistful “Golden Days, Starry Nights” follows, led by Mariam’s acoustic guitar and her gentle, calming vocal reciting a beautiful lyric in praise of creativity and serene, perfect nature. “Oh Hey Hey Oh (Everywhere)” is an acoustic guitar-driven folk waltz full of beautiful nature imagery from Mariam and “Octavius and Kokopelli” is a stately and celestial tale of spirits featuring soaring native flute from Mariam. Mariam picks up her new sitar for today’s final piece “Mahayashaya”. Inscribing an arc from peaceful and meditative to driving and assertive, this richly-textured raga is a study in texture and atmosphere.
