The Bible speaks about seeing the world through a darkened glass, like having dark sunglasses on. We perceive a world of darkness, with separate people, places, things, situations, and events. Jesus teaches that the world was made in hatred and is a place where God cannot enter, but we are not fully aware of this. We are beginning to realize that nothing is what it seems—but distorted and fragmented. It's like a psychotic break from reality, as everything has multiple voices and interpretations.
No two people see the same world, as only one mind dreams of exile from God but projecting a private world of private thoughts. This movie workshop encourages us to see beyond this world to a lit-up world reflecting truth, oneness, love, and forgiveness.

David's movie commentary dismantles our belief and perception of linear time, private thoughts, and people-pleasing. Private thoughts are defense mechanisms against the Holy Instance, love, light, and simplicity. Jesus teaches that the present moment is the closest approximation of eternity, and all mystics and saints emphasize being present and being a bringer of God's love. However, the linear world of time and space is like a mask pulled over, made out of specialness. Specialness is the ego that made this world. This goes beyond the concept of special relationships and what many people think about special relationships. Everything that seems to exist independently is specialness.
David's movie commentary helps us disassemble our faulty perceptions. God did not make trees, the world, or time. He also explains that nothing real can be threatened, and therein lies the peace of God.

Charles must pray through this world and receive and follow inner messages. Spiritual awakening often doesn't emphasize prayer, listening, and guidance. To fully wake up from a dream, one must grasp the power of prayer and the power of the mind. We must believe in guidance, whether it's an inner voice or intuitions and feelings. We must follow the guidance which leads to joy, presence, laughter, and giggles. The gifts of prayer, listening, and following come from a deep connection with God and the power of the mind. If one has faith in prayer and is willing to give themselves wholeheartedly, everything unfolds gracefully.

Unlocking the Truth: The Power of No Private Thoughts 
A Course in Miracles teaches that thoughts are either extended or projected, with God extending creative thoughts of pure spirit.
Jesus teaches that we have real thoughts but are unaware of them. These real thoughts are pure spirit and thoughts we think with God. As long as we have private minds, believing in private thoughts becomes like a dense cloud covering the real thoughts. However, the light remains, and the real thoughts continue. When we become aware of our real thoughts, we become aware of the Christ thoughts, which are pure, loving, and have no distortions.
Projections, or ego thoughts, can create a private world that cannot be shared, like a nightmare. Jesus calls this projection "littleness" or "madness," it is expected to describe these private thoughts as judgments, grievances, evaluations, and comparisons. Jesus teaches that if you believe you have private thoughts, you are judging yourself.

The Bible emphasizes that what goes around comes around, and the belief system in the world of idols is rooted in the belief in the ego, which is the belief in lack and scarcity. This belief leads to twisted ego laws, such as reciprocity and giving to get.
This movie commentary highlights the importance of understanding that all we give is given to ourselves, leading to the return to creation and divine innocence. The mind is always under perfect divine providence, but it can project error onto the world, forgetting the oneness of the kingdom of heaven. The universal principle of giving and receiving is the same, and the real question is what we are offering.
The movie commentary aims to show us the fallacy of the perceptual world, where things seem different and have different purposes than one unified purpose of forgiveness. It argues that the only way to come to the truth is to draw witnesses of sharing, giving, caring, and equality. The equality of the miracle shows that everyone is equally blessed, loved, and equal.

"There's Really only One of Us.”  Commentary by David Hoffmeister
In this movie commentary, David focuses on the unity of life. He reminds us that 'A Course in Miracles' is a radical redefinition of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, focusing on teaching only love for what is what one is. This interpretation of the crucifixion emphasizes the importance of finding love in one's life and with God. The phrase "there's really only one of us" is used to emphasize the unity of the mind, which is not limited to the five senses. The belief in separation has generated a cosmic projection of time and space with different cultures, languages, and planets. Jesus teaches that the spirit never enters the world and that the world is a screen of projections.
The first lesson of the Course is "Nothing I see means anything at all." This realization can make everything we perceive, including the body and the five senses, irrelevant. The awareness of the Spirit is also important, as the Spirit doesn't die but is pure love. This awareness can set us free from the belief system of separation, allowing us to see that our mistakes, achievements, and flaws are nothing. The first lesson of the Course is a powerful reminder that we are all One and that everything we perceive is an illusion.

 At the recent in person Strawberry Fields Festival retreat in Utah USA David and Jason Warwick welcomed participants giving a talk and answered question and David felt the synchronicity with the day's workbook lesson, which emphasizes the importance of placing the future in God's hands, a concept that requires enormous trust. This trust is crucial as we have been conditioned to learn the past and plan the future, often leading to ambition and a focus on education and jobs. Trust is the foundation of a teacher of God and allows us to relax and feel divine ease. Jesus tells us to go from nightmares to waking, with a transition between happy dreams and gentle waking. This process helps us to feel softer and gentler, making the struggle and challenge easier.

Manifesting is a spiritual concept, as seen in the book and movie The Secret, but Jesus takes it to another level and teaches that our feelings, thoughts, and beliefs are making the world we perceive. By recognizing the power of our mind, we can pay closer attention to our feelings, thoughts, and beliefs, which are making up the world we perceive.
Jesus teaches that we are not victims of anything we perceive in the world because we made it up with the power of our mind. The problem is not the dream we perceive but the fragmented lens of the ego and wrong-minded thinking. Jesus is teaching us that the reason the world is in front of us is because we want it, cherish, and desire it more than we desire God. In A Course in Miracles, Jesus explains that manifesting equals perception, and perception is not knowing God or knowledge.

“Forgiveness and Awakening: Embracing the Holy Instant” - A Tribe of Christ Movie Commentary
In chapter 16 of A Course of Miracles, Jesus teaches us that the symbols of hate and love play out a conflict that does not exist, where symbols stand for something else. The symbol of love is without meaning if love is everything. Jesus teaches us that we cannot be content with symbols because there is an actuality of love and truth that has no opposites. As long as we perceive opposites, we are perceiving with the ego. The Holy Spirit uses these symbols of love to show us that there is more than just love.
The movie exposes the belief in private thoughts and their connection to private bodies, which are seen as acceptable in this world. Jesus calls us to share perfect communication and make the Holy Instant ours at once. The truth is simple, and complexity is the ego's attempt to obscure the obvious. The Holy Instant is when you receive and give perfect communication, but it requires openness to receive and give. False thinking in terms of bodies, past, and future generates guilt and makes us feel unworthy of the light of the present moment.
