The fact is pretty universally known that for all of us, those that we love, who are older than we are, will likely go on ahead of us to the next stage of life. And for some of us, as it was for our great friend, Sandra Champlain, to have someone we love die is going to be the occasion for deciding that it is time for us to really research death, and to figure it all out! And so it was as well for Elizabeth Entin, who is our guest today. Liz Entin began researching the afterlife evidence and everything paranormal in 2015, following the passing of her father. While she still considers herself to be skeptical, and even an atheist, (although she is a cultural Jew), the evidence that she discovered for the afterlife really blew her away.
She is the author of two books in the WTF Just Happened series: The first is Book One – WTF Just Happened?!: A sciencey-skeptic explores grief, healing, and evidence of an afterlife  And the second is Book Two –  WTF Just Happened?!: A sciencey skeptic investigates even more evidence of an afterlife and fights for justice with her dead dog. She is the host of a podcast called, WTF Just Happened?!: All about the afterlife. Our guest today is a longtime Seek Reality friend. He is the wonderful Father Nathan Castle, who is a leader in the field of doing afterlife rescue work, and he is with us for the 12th time. We have known Father Nathan here for perhaps seven years, ever since his first book came out, and Roberta could not believe at first that his spirit rescue work was something that the Catholic Church would even allow! But not only do they allow it, they seem to actively support it. So, very good for them indeed! Father Nathan Castle is a Dominican priest who lives and works in a community of Dominican men and women serving the University of Arizona in Tucson. He is a lovely, gentle, and very spiritual man, and something like thirty years ago, he was recruited by elevated beings not in bodies to do spirit rescue work with them. As it turns out, almost twenty-five percent of people will go off-track for a time when they die, and they often do that by their own choice. And our wonderful friend Father Nathan is one of those who is trusted to help to rescue some of those people, once they feel ready to complete their afterlife journeys. Father Nathan’s terrific first book, which was called Afterlife, Interrupted – Helping Stuck Souls Cross Over, came out in 2019, and Roberta tells us that everything in it was completely consistent with what she had learned during all her decades of doing afterlife research. Then that book was followed by books two and three, with similar titles. Maria Pe Talks About Journey to the Upper Realm
Our guest today is someone that Roberta Grimes has known for almost fourteen years. They met soon after Maria Pe had suffered what was an almost unimaginable tragedy. Back so many years ago, Craig Hogan and Roberta Grimes were still were putting on afterlife conferences, and they met Maria Pe at one of those conferences in Scottsdale, Arizona. She had lost her two beautiful young sons when their father had murdered them, and she had an amazing story to tell about how she had managed to get in touch with them across the veil, and even learned how to meet with them by herself astral-traveling in the astral plane. And yes, that is certainly possible! Maria is such a wonderful inspiration to parents whose children have transitioned that when Roberta first began Seek Reality as a podcast, a dozen years ago, she invited her to be a guest a couple of times on this new podcast. But then they lost track of one another. Now they are in touch again, and Roberta has gladly invited Maria back to again be our guest, and to share with us how her sons, Sean and Kyle, are doing in their ongoing lives in the afterlife. Maria Pe is a Harvard University graduate, and a Graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law. She is a former attorney in human resources and private practice who has since retired from the County of San Diego. Maria tells us that she had no prior religious beliefs or spiritual practices at all prior to her sons’ deaths in 2011. But the wonderful thing is that she learned how to do what she calls journey meditations to connect with her sons in spirit, which helped in her journey through grief into healing. Ali Crawford Talks About Heaven Help Us
Our guest this week is unusual. Ali Crawford is her pen name, but we are happy to use it because she is protecting herself from the baddies in her family’s scary past. In Ali’s book, Heaven Help Us, she talks about her awful childhood, her son Jake’s visions, and the frightening things that she says happened to her family that were confrontations with dark and dangerous forces on both spiritual and physical planes. Those who are familiar with the Bible know that Jesus removed scary demons that had possessed people, and perhaps you thought those were metaphoric tales, and those demons were not real demons at all. Well, actually they were real, and such demonic creatures still do exist, although most modern people never encounter them because nearly every modern person’s spiritual vibrations are high enough that we can avoid them. “Shadow Men” are the most common very-low-vibration modern nasties that you might hear about, and there is a Shadow Man in Ali’s book. Fascinating! The more evil some being is, the lower it vibrates and the weaker it is. It has to feed on our fear in order for it to exist at all, so that is what these nasties do. They try to scare us in the dark, so always give young children a nightlight, especially if they are very afraid of the dark. If they are afraid of the dark, there may be a VERY good reason! If a Shadow Man latches onto a small child, he will sometimes try to cling to that person and be a problem for his whole life. Heaven Help Us is a fascinating book about how using spiritual good, which is God’s pure love, to fight spiritual evil, especially including religious evil, is going to be a winner, every time! That is what Jesus did. And we can do it, too!

Brian D. Smith Talks About Going from Grief to Growth
Our guest today is Brian D. Smith, and he is with us for the third time. Brian has long been a spiritual seeker. He started out in the Pentecostal religious tradition, and later became part of an evangelical community. After that, he became a Christian Universalist. Then later on, he studied Buddhism and various mystical traditions. As a young man, Brian says that he was pretty deeply scarred by toxic religion, which, among other things, instilled in him an intense fear of death; but further study helped him to alleviate a lot of that fear. So Brian was living a beautiful life, with his lovely wife of now more than thirty years and his two young daughters. But then in June of 2015, his younger daughter, Shayna, unexpectedly transitioned in her sleep. She was not yet 16 years old.  After Shayna’s transition, Brian tells us that his spiritual quest intensified because of some extraordinary visions and messages that he was receiving from his daughter. As a result of those experiences, he immersed himself in researching the afterlife, taking a scientific as well as a spiritual and philosophical approach to it. He says that now he felt that he really needed to know, and not just believe, what was true about death and the afterlife. And he learned so much that he ended up writing a book. Our special guest today is everyone’s favorite. He was our first guest, back in the summer of 2013, and he has been with us faithfully, four or five times each year, ever since. Dr. R. Craig Hogan is probably the world’s leading expert on death and the afterlife. He teaches and keynotes all over the world, he puts out a popular monthly newsletter, he heads the Seek Reality Online website at seekreality.com, which is the world’s biggest and most important afterlife-related website, he has written some very important books, and he also does a regular video educational series. Craig Hogan is very big indeed in the afterlife field!  And it was Craig who first urged Roberta Grimes to write The Fun of Dying, fifteen years ago now.
