Judith Blacquier of Synchronicity and Company
I am truly honored to have had the opportunity to meet and speak with “Healing Arts Practitioner” Judy Blacquier – This was one of those synchronistic meetings – that makes you take pause and say “HELLO Friend, I have been wondering what took you so long”. We have such a higher spiritual connection directly from the soul center. I had heard about Judy several years ago, but we never had the opportunity to actually meet in person…..until recently. Her name came up about 1 month ago, at work, through a colleague. A few days later Judy and I connected through a phone call and decided to meet in person the following week to do the interview. The day before the interview I had a reiki session set up with Sarah Tucker – After the amazing session we sat at her kitchen table and I talked with Sarah ad her Husband Jeremy – Through this conversation, Judy’s name came up again! They spoke very highly of her and Jeremy said that she was the impetus for his spiritual Journey. Weird? No way –Destiny and fate…I will let you be the judge of that.
Judy and actually I met a couple of weeks ago, in person, intending to do an interview for this Podcast. The universe had another agenda for us. We talked, and talked and talked – I did a reading for her and she in turn, did an Energy – Shamanic –Healing Session for me. I can honestly say, I have never experienced anything like it! She is one powerful woman! My hope for all of you, is to listen to this interview and reach out to Judith to schedule a session with her – I highly recommend it. Life changing.
About Judith:
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Judith Blacquier received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University, having spent a year at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. She went on to study at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1996 Judith moved to Martha’s Vineyard, becoming a Holistic energy Practitioner in 1998.
Following a serious illness, Judith was guided to see a medicine woman. She traveled to South America, Europe, Hawaii, and various other places in the US, studying with healers and teachers of the wisdom traditions from around the world. Discovering her shamanic path, Judith combines her training as a reiki and breathwork practitioner into a unique and powerful process of transformation.

Jan Mallett “YOUR GARDEN GURU”
I met Jan a few years ago at a local Networking event in our area. She had all but retired from Real-Estate and was involved in Direct Sales. I found her to be very energetic, direct and knowledgeable. She is involved in the local community and I couldn’t wait to speak with her about being a master gardener – especially since this is an area where I also dwell! We spoke prior to the interview and we learned a few new things about each other – I felt that it was important to speak with her on this Podcast, because the information about growing your own food and flowers is not only beneficial for your physical health, but also is an amazing healing tool for mental and soul health.

David Barr of “IN THE DREAMTIME”

I INVITE YOU ALL TO JOIN ME FOR THIS INTERVIEW WITH Dream specialist, David Barr!
I have known David for over 28 years – We met while both working at Ross-Simons, a jewelry company in RI. He was in IT and I worked in the Customer Service dept. I remember David as a quiet, polite young man. I would never have “DREAMED” that either one of us, would be as involved in the spiritual community as we are now and I was thrilled that he agreed to do this interview. I was excited and impressed by this path that David has Ventured down – it is a subject that I am very interested in and I know that many others are as well.
Dreams are an important part of our lives and David has studied this field and understands the importance of Dream Interpretation and the importance of empowering others to understand their own dreams. He has created a method(s) to help people understand dreams. It is a very interesting interview/conversation and I can’t wait to have David back on to delve deeper into this topic.
ABOUT David:
David Barr is a Certified Dream Teacher through the Robert Moss School of Active Dreaming. He has a BA in Psychology from Rhode Island College. David’s passion is engaging people about dreams. He helps people form deeper connections to their dreams and teaches them to use dreams to enhance their lives. David is also certified in hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming and Reiki and Karuna Reiki. He has also studied with several shaman/shamanic practitioners.
Learning to work with dreams has changed my life. Dreams have helped me make major life decisions and guided me towards the right people and paths while steering me away from the wrong ones. By taking action on my dreams, I was able to things like stand-up comedy, stand in the middle of Stonehenge, and teach at various wellness and spiritual centers.
As our society began to modernize, our culture stopped valuing our dreams. I’m part of a growing movement to change that. We’re told that dreams are a way for our brains to process and organize information and experiences that we’ve had throughout the day. Dreams are so much more than that… They are sources of inspiration, wisdom, guidance, creativity, healing, and fun. Dreams have led to great works of literature, art, music, movies, inventions, and scientific advancements. When we tap into our dreams and take action on the messages coming through, anything is possible.

Keeping it Riel with Marilyn & Steve Riel
I met and connected with Marilyn and Steve about 3 years ago – we all belonged to a local networking group in Eastern Connecticut. Marilyn and Steve we a down to earth, friendly and very sweet couple and one could immediately warm up to them. We became friendly and they somehow convinced me to come into the studio and check it out – so I did. It was open and bright and you I felt welcomed by them both. I remember thinking that they were a pretty well-oiled machine – finishing each other’s sentences at just the right moment. They were pretty excited to talk about what they were doing with homesteading and their photography business.
I scheduled a head-shot photo session with them – but felt apprehensive as I do not like my picture taken. They made me very comfortable and the session was a blast!! I actually really love my pictures and have used them for many different marketing pieces. Doing this show allows me to invite all kinds of interesting guests to speak about what they do and how it affects humanity in a positive way – Marilyn and Steve are 2 of those people, that I invited to be my Awakened Soul of the Week – So I hope you will tune in ad listen to what they have to say!!
A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT Marilyn and Steve….
Hi! We’re Steve and Marilyn Riel, two old-fashioned souls living in Lisbon, Connecticut.
Most people know us as photographers who own and operate a portrait studio and boutique but may not be aware that when we aren’t working on our business, we are working on our homestead. Our true love is the self-reliance you gain from gardening, preserving, foraging, making tinctures and salves and other survival preparations that we do every day here at our little cabin in the woods.
The studio side of our life is a women’s portrait photography studio. Marilyn chose to photograph women exclusively when she found an overwhelming emotional connection with how it affected her female clients. Women seemed to connect with the experience so much more deeply than the majority of men that she photographed. Marilyn uses this experience to build women’s self-confidence and to help empower women looking for more than just photographs of themselves.
Outside of the studio, we live a much simpler life. We try to live in a way that has been passed down from our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. We both grew up raised by depression era parents and learned from a very early age how to be self-reliant and how to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. We feel it to be important to pass this way of life down to the future generations within our family and anyone else that clicks with this way of life.
A quote from Patricia Sampson sums-up our belief – “Self-reliance is the only road to true freedom and being one’s own person, is its ultimate reward.”

Dena Breslin~ Awakened Soul Story of the Week
I am so excited and honored to have an opportunity to speak with Dena and talk about what she’s been doing since the last time we spoke. We met in 2010 while working for Swarovski – in the Touchstone Crystal Division. I remember the division was fairly new and Dena was one of the division leaders at that time and was really starting to build herself quite the team of Sales Reps. I have always known her to be high energy, positive, intelligent, and ambitious, and because of her drive, she has become very successful. I also remember that Dena was very direct and honest, she was out to be the best she could be. It was a sight to behold watching her in action. I remember thinking to myself; Now there is someone who can change the world!!
Dena is a mother to 3 amazing children, and resides in Redding Pennsylvania.
We have maintained a connection as well as a friendship for all of these years – It has been a pleasure watching her build her life into something so amazing – helping so many people along her journey, to heal, build confidence and empower them to be the best version of themselves - while continuously building a very strong spiritual connection to the higher energies that surround all of us. She is truly blessed in so many ways and divinely inspired to make the world a better place.
For 25 years, Dena’s passion has been sales success, leadership development and mindset transformation. A former physician assistant in gastroenterology, she continues to advocate for and educate on holistic health and wellness.

Veterans Advocate, Scott Freyer is the Awakened Soul Story of the Week!
Scott and I live in the same town, Griswold Connecticut we have both lived there for 9 years and for some reason, never officially met. We would see each other at basketball games – and in passing at a local restaurant – but never were introduced. I would see his posts on social media and on various town FB pages – I always admired the way he would handle himself on some pretty contentious comments made by others. He seems to take the mediator side of things or with a comical comeback. I also noticed that he was very involved in his children’s lives, his community and has a strong advocate interest in veteran’s organizations. This is what piqued my interest in what he was really all about. I wanted to know more about him and what drove him to help others. We have chatted a few times about various things, local politics, helping people during the lockdown and about how we could do better to help others in the community. So, I was very excited that he agreed to an interview for Awakened Soul Stories. I had a great time taking to him during the interview and came away with a renewed admiration and respect for Scott and the kind of person that he is.
I hope you will listen to this episode and get to know Scott like I have. He is a very AWAKENED human as you will hear, he does a lot to help the human race elevate the vibration so that one day – we can all, just get along and understand each other on a whole other level. Peace and prosperity will prevail with people like Scott doing their part!
About Scott:
Scott Freyer was born in Red Bank, NJ in August of 1970 and grew up on the Jersey Shore. After graduating high school in 1988, he enlisted in the United States Navy and joined the submarine force. During his time in the service, Scott was stationed in Charleston, SC and Groton, CT. He deployed during Operation Desert Storm, Operation Deliberate Force, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2012, Scott retired from the Navy after 24 years as a Chief Petty Officer. Scott is currently employed by the US Navy as a Mechanical Engineer at Electric Boat.
In 2001, Scott met his wife Brenda on a blind date, and they were married in May of 2003. In December 2004, Brenda gave birth to their first child Dylan, who is currently an All-State soccer and lacrosse player at Cheshire Academy in Cheshire CT.
In January 2007, they had their second child, Olivia. Olivia is an Honor Student at Griswold High School and is on the volleyball and lacrosse teams.
Scott and his family reside in the town of Griswold Connecticut.
Scott is also the Co-founder of B3 Media with his friend Chris Nott, and they produce and co-host a weekly baseball podcast called "Bronx Baseball & Beer" and is currently the #1 baseball podcast in the state of Connecticut.
Scott is also heavily involved in the military community, specifically veterans and veterans suicide prevention advocate groups. He participates in several events every year including the Norwich Irreverent Warriors Silkies Hike and Tough Ruck Boston and has raised over $5000 for these charities. He feels, as a veteran himself that we as a country, can do a better job with making veterans feel that we care and appreciate their service. By raising awareness and fundraising, Scott is doing his part to make sure these Veterans are taken care of.

Glenn and I met about 8 years ago – we both attended several Meditation and Healing Event in the Connecticut & Rhode Island Areas. I consider him a kind and gentle Awakened Soul. He recently moved his life from Rhode Island to the Dominican Republic! How exciting.

Awakened Soul Story with David Chandler Part 2
I was super excited to interview my dear friend David Chandler! This is the second half of the interview that I did with him on 12/17/21 – This week we will listen to some of his newer songs and David and I will discuss what they are all about.
David and I met about 10 years ago at an event in Woonsocket, RI. The back story is that I was having visions of sunflowers, and they would appear randomly for about 3 weeks – However, I could not figure out why I was seeing them. On a Saturday afternoon, I was going to an event to see another Psychic and friend, Roland Comtois. I walked into the space that the event was being held and was looking for a place to sit. It looked like an old church inside with rows of pews. I stopped at the end of a row, and I recognized David from his FB photo – He came walking over and said, “it is so nice to finally meet you, I was waiting for you”, and then he said “I have something for you.” He handed me a CD, and on the cover of that CD, was a picture of a sunflower, as well as the title of the CD – “SUNFLOWERS”. Coincidence? I think not!! When I turned to see the speaker, who was up in the front, I noticed on either side of the pedestal that he was standing at, there were 2 very large vases of Sunflowers!!
Needless to say, David and I struck up an immediate friendship. I love his music and his ethereal voice, and David as a person is an amazingly talented and gifted human being. I feel that David is an Awakened Human and has a true understanding of what is happening in the world and where the future to the human race is going. He is part of the journey – to help AWAKEN THE PEOPLE OF EARTH with his music. I hope you all enjoy this interview!
A little about David Chandler:
David is a Musician, Singer/Songwriter, Sound Designer, Soundtrack Artist and Sonic Therapies Practitioner.
David’s Sonic Journey has evolved over the past three decades in many areas of creative expression. As a singer/ songwriter, he has released 6 CDs, co- producing with David Correia, seven- time Grammy Award nominee, and two- time Grammy Award winner. His instrumental work has charted in the Top Ten in New Age radio. There are currently 6 instrumental CDs available on David’s website.
David has enjoyed a full spectrum musical life in performance and recording and has a long history of exploring the Healing Arts through sound and music in many forms since the1980s.
He studied Behavioral Sciences and Therapeutic Music at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, USA. His academic research was in the area of Energetic Anatomy and Sound. As a therapeutic sonic explorer, David has used Vibroacoustic Therapy and many of his own clinically proven soundtracks to assist in the tuning of the human instrument over the past 30 years.
He believes in “bigger and better” things for our consciousness and recognizes the potential for our conscious evolution, both personal and collective. David’s mission is to awaken as many people as possible to the deeper dimensions of our existence through sound and music.
David believes that sound is the carrier wave of consciousness and is an amazing tool to access and orchestrate our individual and collective transformations. There has never been a more poignant moment in history for this Mission.
