Awakening to True Happiness with David Hoffmeister

Love is Our Source
Description: The goal of spiritual practice is to be in the flow of presence, to be tuned into Spirit. Decision-making becomes simple and easy when this is the case, for we can ride the intuitive flow of our heart and trust in our Spirit-Given destiny.
The ego, on the other hand, is the attempt to think apart from God. As long as we are invested in the world of form, the experience of flow escapes us. True forgiveness is necessary to see the world in a unified way so that our vision is clear. We can become just as invested in peace of mind as we were in specific outcomes that the world is always seen from this higher perception.
Who is our source? Love is our Source. When we accept that, everything changes.
This recording of David Hoffmeister took place at the Columbine Unity Spiritual Center on June 15, 2015 in Boulder, Colorado.

8th Law of Authentication
One of the more challenging of the 13 Laws - to Gain Full Responsibility. A deep, service based approach to life which feeds all the laws. What happens when we walk unconsciously in our environments? Linda Tucker tells us that by virtue of being responsible, power comes. It is a very different process to the old model of seizing power, which does not display real responsibility; and as law abiding citizens how do we revisit our role, our laws, our leaders and how do we define our relationship with power and authority?
We take originality to a much deeper level, and we commit to standing up to be counted and thereby stand in the only power that truly counts - our own.
Linda chats to Maurice Fernandez, arguably one of the most accomplished Astrologers in the world today to get his take on the Law of Authentication. We look at how the Laws are reflected in the heavens, in the ancient signs of astrology. How we can use these signs and wonders that are gifted to us by our incredible universe are there to guide us, illuminating the lessons and blessings of our paths. Maurice is one of the regular facilitators at the annual White Lion Leadership Academy; he brings a special perspective to the role and application of lessons from the heavens in the daily evolution on our lives.
We end our show with a special gift - a story, written by Linda Tucker, for children but designed to delight all ages. So close your eyes, sit back and join us - this is soul-food at its best.

Christy Cornell-Pape on Isadora Duncan Dance
Isadora Duncan, an American dancer in the late 1800's really knew how to build her dreams and liver her sparkle! Refusing to be confined by pointe shoes, corsets and traditional dance, she was instrumental in birthing the Modern Dance movement, by dancing barefoot, in Greek inspired togas, and dancing from her HEART! Not only did she dance her own way, she lived her whole life her own way, despite the cultural and religious norms of the day. Her legacy continues to live on, and in today's show, we are honored to have an Isadora Duncan aficionado and teacher share her love of Duncan dance and philosophy with us!
Christy Cornell-Pape - Christy, a life-long dancer, began studying dance at the age of 2. Proficient in tap, ballet, and jazz, Christy continues to study a variety of dance forms, such as samba and flamenco. Christy began intensively studying Isadora Duncan dance in 1999 with Mary Sano. She attended and performed at the International Isadora Duncan Dance Festival in Budapest, Hungary in November 2002. In 2003, Christy began taking classes with Ann Cogley and Christina Fessenden. She has taken several workshops with Lori Belilove and worked with Lori Belilove as a performer and children's rehearsal director during some of Lori's performances in California. Christy has performed extensively in musical theatre and burlesque, performing throughout California, the U.S., and internationally. Christy is a prolific choreographer and can frequently be seen performing solo work in San Francisco and at many shows around the Bay Area. She is a director of DIVAfest, a non-profit supporting women in the arts. She has taught both adult and children's Duncan dance classes. She currently teaches adult classes for Duncan dance, cancan, fan dancing, and burlesque. In her day job, Christy is a bank regulator specializing in the deterrence and identification of white collar crime and money laundering.

Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour with Mariam Massaro

Saturday Mar 04, 2017
Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #251 at Singing Bridge Studio and is dedicated to the peace of the world. Mariam Massaro, Bob Sherwood and Craig Harris of the Gaea Star Band present several dynamic improvisations and songs by Mariam, with Bob on piano, Craig on congas and balaphone and Mariam on vocals, dulcimer, native flute, acoustic guitar, baritone ukulele and sitar. Today’s first piece is the driving, concise “We Are All The Same” a song to our universality, a prayer of unity that twists and turns through passages and movements both rocking and minimal and built on an elastic rhythm section of dulcimer, congas and piano. The band builds to a richly spiritual high point to match the intensity of Mariam’s poetry before easing into the folky “The Power Of Love Will Rise Above”, an expansive, acoustic-guitar based song of hope draped with piano filigree and a pretty, affecting melody. “Cozy Inside” is a winter blues celebrating the joys of the indoors featuring imaginative ukulele and some interesting surprises. “May We All Gather Together” is a modal workout featuring ambiguous major/minor twists in true Gaea Star style. Craig’s intense, accelerating congas drive the band to a rocking plateau featuring lovely visionary poetry from Mariam. “Ashento From The Stars” finds Mariam painting a mysterious, impressionistic tapestry with native flute and sitar to tell the tale of Shilaya in the forest. A lush instrumental built around impassioned flute runs from Mariam lead the band into a swirling expansion of the “Gaea Star Goddesses” track “Lotus Queen” called “Lakshmi * Saraswati”.
