From Fear to Miracles!
Description: In this episode we hear David talking about how to live the teachings of A Course in Miracles - especially Chapter 2, Section 6 on Fear & Conflict. He addresses questions from retreatants who are struck with sudden fear as if from nowhere, feel sad for no reason, and who want to know what they can do to wake up faster! David brings our focus to the cause of seeming problems rather than the effects and teaches that as long as we are fearful we are blocking the Light and preventing God from giving His direction with everything in life that truly matters. He encourages us that if we can be free from fear and doubt, even for a moment - God will shoot a miracle through us. Then we will have an experience that Miracles (rather than fear) are involuntary.
This recording was part of a live online retreat entitled: "Awakening from the Dream" which took place between 12-14 January 2018. Recorded at the Living Miracles Metaphysical Center, Kamas, Utah.

Embracing Our Identities as Assets: Interrupting Exclusionary “Isms”
Each and every one has the capacity to embrace our many identities without excluding anyone anywhere. This requires a foundational shift in our exclusive, defensive, exclusionary mindset. Depending on whether or not we choose to source universal values for our thinking and actions, our social, professional and personality profiles can be either nurturing or disempowering, inclusive or divisive. Instead of letting our identities become disruptive forces, we have the choice to embracing our “identities” as assets for humanity. This is one of the essentials for peace.
We socialize and support our children to realize their full potential; but we often become rigid and impart exclusionary perspectives. We are often unaware of our own biases and their consequences, and/or unwilling to examine the assumptions behind our opinions and actions.
The patterns of ‘otherness’ and exclusion -- racism, casteism, classism, sexism, tribalism, hateful religiosity-- can be interrupted by embodying universal values for strategic action and results. We will discuss ways to transcend our separative and scarcity mindset. Let us explore how we can choose to move beyond token representation, superficial gestures of inclusion, inadequate support for people who are marginalized by cultures or systems, and the hollow politically correct statements we make.

Terminally Ill Dogs Living Happily Ever After
This week, Dr. Judy is pleased to welcome back her friend Michele Allen, who along with her husband Jeff, co-founded Monkey’s House A Dog Hospice & Sanctuary. Long time animal advocates, Michele and Jeff offer sanctuary to terminally ill senior dogs who, through no fault of their own, find themselves homeless. Instead of adopting out these dogs, Monkey's House primary mission is to provide a loving home environment and palliative medical care for however long they may have. Along with their extensive volunteer team of “Aunts” and “Uncles”, including Dr. Judy as Medical Director, they provide 24/7 love and care to 20 plus dogs at any given time on their small Burlington County, NJ farm. When quality of life has come to an end, their founders ensure a loving journey to the Rainbow Bridge. It has been a banner year since her 2017 Interview, including Michele’s being named a CNN Hero. This is your chance to hear Dr. Judy and Michele talk about life at Monkey’s House over the past year as well as future plans for growth.

Graduation!
May is the season we celebrate transitions from one phase of our lives to the next. And boy do we celebrate! Everywhere we look we see CONGRATULATIONS banners, signs, cards and posts on line. We congratulate the graduate for the successful completion of one phase of his or her life, and we enthusiastically launch them into the next phase.
But what we don’t say, is the fact that the next phase will probably be difficult. Maybe even more difficult than the phase they just completed. After all, isn’t that how a lot of life works? We graduate high school, and we move on to college, which is inevitably more difficult. Then, we graduate from college, and move onto grad school, which is more difficult still. We leave school behind for the real world, and we may struggle for jobs or to make enough to cover living expenses and student loans. But who cares? When we use the word graduation, the automatic response is a hearty, CONGRATULATIONS!
And that’s exactly the way it should be! In fact, we would be better off as a society if we used the word CONGRATULATIONS more often. For the loss of a job, for divorces, for tragedies and even for death. Because when we let go of the fearful connotation of the word change, when we let go of the stressful nature of transition and growth, we automatically feel better!
Using the word CONGRATULATIONS enables us to look back, to see how hard we’ve worked, to see all we have accomplished, and it solidifies for us that we have succeeded. Using the word CONGRATULATIONS also causes us to look forward to the future with joy, expectation and anticipation, instead of with trepidation. When we have successfully wrapped up one phase of life, and are moving into the next phase, it helps to move forward with positivity!
So my challenge to you is this: What is going on in your life right now that is a change or a transition? How would this change be different for you if you felt satisfaction and eager anticipation for the future? How different would this time be for you, if everyone around you congratulated you on everything you had just accomplished, and hardily wished you well for the next, exciting chapter of your life? My hunch is that whatever you were facing, would suddenly feel a whole lot better!
So, beginning today, let’s all adopt the practice of acknowledging and congratulating each other for the work, the success, the lessons and the changes that take place in our lives each and every day.
CONGRATULATIONS! May the next chapter of your life be Shiny and Bright!

We finish today’s show with the dulcimer-based “Roses By My Bedside” and “Spring Is Mighty Fine” in a long, unhurried expression of serenity and gratitude.

Sheryl Glick host of Healing From Within interviews Maureen J. St. Germain author of Waking Up in 5 D which offers eye opening stories of Fifth Dimension experiences from students and from her Spirit Guides explaining that part of our soul energy is living in this three dimensional physical plane, but life is changing and many of us are prepared and excited to move to higher frequencies of consciousness and a new dimension of life. Maureen as a child was aware someone was watching her and grew up close to nature and the openness and beauty of the outdoors. Sheryl shares that she was also at a young age aware of something around her or energy that touched her and couldn’t quite explain how she knew there was much more than the adults were teaching her.

Raising Awareness for Children & DIPG with Janet Demeter
In memory of Jack Demeter and Neil Fachon Blessed with varied interests and an artistic and musical upbringing, Janet had health challenges throughout her young adult life. Despite these she graduated Cum Laude from Wellesley College with an award of distinction for acting, and had also been a champion equestrian. She began a family with her husband Barry later in life, and had finally found happiness with daughter Sophie-Marie (3/12/06) and then baby (Jack 8/30/08). Five weeks after his birth, the family escaped a wildfire in which all worldly possessions were lost. The family relocated in December of 2008 to Agua Dulce CA where they currently reside. Jack began to have unsettling symptoms at the age of 3; he was taken to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and was diagnosed with DIPG, or diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, on Friday Oct. 28, 2011, indisputably the darkest experience of Janet’s life. The outrage of it made her determined to find the good in the situation, and she asked God to “Put me to work!” After Jack’s death, she remained determined to start working to find solutions to DIPG and incorporated Jack’s Angels at the end of 2012; the Foundation began its work in 2013. Despite the fact that DIPG is responsible for the majority of brain tumor deaths in children, she had been told there were no solutions for Jack because “the numbers aren’t great enough for investors.” This remains the primary motivation in her advocacy work, to prioritize children’s lives in our medical system in the United States. In 2016 Janet Demeter started “Childhood Cancer Talk Radio” as an advocacy arm for children with cancer, and the “Relay for Kids” program, debuting with “Relay for Jack” this May 2016 to raise funds for the most urgently needed pediatric cancer research.
