Hare Today - Here to Stay!
This week, Dr. Judy is pleased to welcome the owner of a family business you’ve likely heard her speak of often – Ashlee Luke of Hare Today, joins us from Springboro, PA where along with her husband Josh, is raising their family. Hare Today Gone Tomorrow started as a small rabbit farm in 1999 specializing in rabbit meat, and today is grounded on the belief of raising animals as naturally as possible with plenty of fresh air, fresh food, and TLC and is supportive of other family farms that apply the same philosophies. Ashlee graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2008 with degrees in Accounting and IT and after 12 years with a non-profit, she joined the family business in 2017, bringing with her invaluable expertise managing Federal, State and Local grants and her ability to read, understand and be in compliance with FDA and State regulations. In January 2019, Ashlee purchased the family business from her mother, Tracy, renaming it to Hare Today, keeping in mind the family business identity and their passion to offer only the BEST for domesticated carnivores. Want to know more about how Ashlee dealt with the unexpected visit from the FDA and scored a “win” for raw feeders everywhere? How about all the different products you can now get from Hare Today? Then by all means, tune to hear Dr. Judy and Ashlee talk about all this, her work with rescue groups and more.

Sunday Mar 24, 2019
The Gaea Star Band presents Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #345, another hour of visionary acoustic improvisation and songs by Mariam Massaro, recorded live at Singing Brook Studio on Worthington, Massachusetts in March 2019. Featuring Mariam on vocals, native flute, ukulele and acoustic guitar, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and native drums, the Gaea Star Band begin with the half-hour multi-movement song cycle “Just A Lovely Flow” which flows from mystical native grooves to lush piano-led jazz to spirited gypsy jump and finally to an unusual, mesmeric climax built on an unsettled, haunting cycle of chords from the piano. Mariam picks up her acoustic guitar for the folky, minor ballad “Returning To Balance” and finally today we reprise Mariam’s “Full Moon Parts One And Two”, a silvery, reverential moon waltz that evokes the night sky in gorgeous detail.

Sheryl Glick host of Healing From Within welcomes back Penney Peirce author of her newest book Transparency describing what real radical transparency is and how we can employ it for success in our own lives relationships and organizations. In her book Transparency Penney Peirce describes how life will function in a new way as we leave the Information Age and enter the new transparent Intuition Age. As we dissolve the causes for our inability to know ourselves and life as it truly is, our security needs via attachment, linear-logical left-brain perception, the distracted un-centered mind, negative emotions and speech and control and victim behaviors—life will shift to become frictionless and the soul’s desires materialize without distortion.

Spontaneous Violence and The Hero Project, A Conversation with Dr. Phil Zimbardo
Dr. Zimbardo became world famous as a result of his startling “Stanford Prison Experiment,” in which he randomly assigned psychologically normal college students to play the role of either prisoners or guards. Within a few days the two groups became more and more violent with each other – so much so that it became necessary to stop the experiment in 6 days instead of the planned 14 days.
In this intriguing conversation we review the startling details of this study. Zimbardo has conducted research for some years on deindividuation, vandalism and dehumanization that illustrated the ease with which ordinary people can be led to engage in anti-social acts by putting them in situations where they felt anonymous, or they could perceive of others in ways that made them less than human, as enemies or objects. In a world where polarization, conflict, and violence are becoming more dangerous it is crucial that we understand certain truths about ourselves.
We are incompletely evolved mammals, and along with our appendix and coccyx we have a vestigial bias towards negativity and violence. What to do? Dr. Zimbardo describes his “Heroic Imagination” Project, which has the goal of training people how to be “heros” around the globe.
The HIP education programs prepare heroes in training for everyday heroic action. This is achieved by educating participants directly about their own psychology and teaching how they can master social and situational forces as well as their automatic human tendencies in order to act in ways that are kind, prosocial, and even heroic.
You will also hear a portion of Dr. Miller’s program, Awakening The Leader Within.

Adventures of Runnergirl 1953 with Mary McManus
Mary McManus was once known as "Easy Out Alper" in gym class. She contracted paralytic polio at the age of 5 but she managed to run the 2009 Boston Marathon at the age of 55. When Mary was diagnosed with Post-Polio Syndrome, a progressive neuromuscular disease in December 2006, she decided she was not going to take the diagnosis sitting down. She got still and asked for Divine Guidance. The answer came in the form of a poem, "Running the Race" followed by many poems that, through the power of visualization, inspired her to heal mind, body and soul. The poems opened a portal to healing, hope, possibility, happiness and joy as she imagined her future free from the shackles of her past. In May 2007, Mary took a leap of faith leaving behind her award winning career as a Social Worker at the VA to heal her life.
Mary's quest to heal her life led her to the sport of running that tested her mettle while fueling her journey of transformation from a survivor of childhood paralytic polio and severe trauma at the hands of family members to a woman who embodies faith, grace under fire, courage, determination, endurance and resilience.
"Running the Race" foreshadowed her Boston Marathon run despite all appearances to the contrary. As Mary sat in a leg brace, using a cane and a wheelchair for mobility, and having been told to prepare to spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair, Mary imagined herself winning a 10K race. Out of the rubble of her past, Mary dug deep to discover the treasure of who she was always meant to be. Her Spirit shines with brilliant resilience as she conquered every challenge going the distance on the roads and in her life.
Mary holds a BS in Communications from Boston University, an MSW from Boston College and many fond memories of her veterans and their families who blessed her life when she worked at the VA . She lives in Chestnut Hill Massachusetts with Tom, her husband of over 40 years and their beloved cat Jamie. www.marymcmanus.com

But our loved ones will assist us in raising our vibrations to encounter a whole new wonderful reality that is right in the same place! Carla Wills-Brandon is a leading expert on these beautiful reunions that occur as we are dying and preparing to go home.
