The Guide Within
In this weeks show David is joined by Jason Warwick and Michael Caruana as they explore the topic of being under Christ control
There is a power greater than what we know at work which is caring, loving and kind. We can call it a higher power, our true Self, God, whatever you want to call it it does not matter. Deep down inside all of us we know this to be true, this is what we want to return to. Being clueless, cared for and carefree. In order to do this, we must look at our minds and take back all of our projections of what we think we know about ourselves, others and the universe. We must let go of the roles we think we play such as Mother, Father, Son and Daughter and really align with our true authentic nature. We can achieve this through guidance; inner listening to what is most helpful for everyone and everything. We are learning that we don’t always know best but there is something that does. We can call it the Spirit of who we are. In this week's show, we take a look at being lead gently into heights of happiness by the One that knows.

Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour with Mariam Massaro
Sunday Mar 10, 2019
Sunday Mar 10, 2019
Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #343 was recorded at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts on a freezing February day and features songs by Mariam Massaro and dynamic acoustic improvisation by the Gaea Star Band with Mariam on vocals, native flute, ukulele and acoustic guitar, Craig Harris on congas and native drums and Bob Sherwood on piano. Today’s first piece is the plaintive “We Can All Come Home Now” which features expressive native flute from Mariam above a gently arpeggiated piano in minor. “In The Might Of The Night” bids a hopeful farewell to winter with a chiming ukulele part from Mariam over a rock-steady conga and piano groove. “The Treasures That Bring Us Light” is a native chant that slowly transforms into a ballad of generosity and common purpose with a powerful vocal from Mariam. “Are You Climbing The Mountain of Your Dreams?” is a stirring minor ballad with more fine ukulele work from Mariam and a hypnotic piano and “Let’s Be Bold” features silken acoustic guitar from Mariam and a steady, minimalist rhythm framework from Craig and Bob.

Radical Transformational Leadership: What does this imply?
Guest Speaker: Adya Siddarth
Engineers and Technologists Rethink
Join us for a conversation with Adya Siddarth, a software Engineer who also has expertise in Urban Policy & Practice. The purpose of her work is to establish creative ways for engineers and technologists to rethink and act for societal and environmental wellbeing.
Adya discusses how the conscious full spectrum (CFS) shifts the way consulting happens - from prescribing solutions to creativity and co-creation fostered in any group-- children, youth, social workers, faculty, experts, development professionals, policy makers. From designing silo-based projects we shift to developing platforms for individuals and groups to come together and realize their agency and potential; and to develop their own breakthrough initiatives for change in their environment and society. For example, we when we worked on solid waste management as an entry point, using the CFS approach, we could design the project to also look at interactions, interconnectedness and interdependence of other systems such as sanitation, ecology, local governance, cultural norms, along with other stakeholders.
This is everyday leadership for everyone. Adya discusses how this work has made her realize and practice this—how she can be a transformational steward in every opportunity presented and what her responsibility is as a global citizen on this planet. She says “I can never stop thinking and working towards that; never stop learning and growing; learning to be compassionate to myself; and to see how every opportunity I get -- meetings, conversations, projects, events – is an opportunity to generate transformational results based on universal values. I inspire others and I am also inspired by them at the same time.”
Eighteenth Episode: Guest in the 2nd segment:
Bio: Adya Siddarth is an engineer by background and Practitioner Coach for Transformational leadership. She has been a facilitator, resource person and mentor for various programmes organised to foster leadership in local communities and organisations. She has worked for TISS as a Programme Officer of a field action project focusing on research and conducting learning-in-action programmes with NGOs and communities in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Information and Communication technologies (ICT) using Free and Open Source Software, Participatory tools and Transformational Leadership for action. She has a background in urban policy and practice. Prior to this she has worked in the Software industry in the area of mobile application development for the social sector.
Her current work focuses on transforming the sector of education - particularly higher education in India - to look at how institutions and students from various disciplines (engineering, architecture, management) can work towards meaningful contribution to society including their surrounding neighbourhoods for social and environmental wellbeing and sustainability.
