Being okay with not knowing what's coming "Next"-I know you've got me! with David Hoffmeister
The theme of being okay with not knowing what's coming next and trusting that someone has your back is powerful and comforting. It speaks to the idea of surrendering control and letting go of the need to know what the future holds constantly. We tried on our own and actually it didn't go very well. We tried, and it was miserable. We were miserable. We tried it on our own, but deep inside, we knew we'd be back to set things straight. Knowing the Path is Already Laid Out for You with David Hoffmeister
I remember at the end of the millennium; I had this strong feeling that we were ready to wake up. The Truman Show came in 1998, and then we had the 13th floor, Dark City, and the Matrix. All these movies started appearing in our consciousness that the world was a dream. The world was a matrix. The world was of fiction. The world was a world of fantasy and dreams. And clearly, in all of these movies, there was a strong desire by the main character to wake up from the trick. To forgive the illusion. To release the false make-believe reality and awaken to the One. To escape from the false world and experience the real world and the light beyond the real world.
So for those of you on the spiritual journey and who are practicing A Course in Miracles, Jesus has been keeping in step with the movies keeping introducing more and more movies. Here's another movie. Did you get it? Okay, here, try this one. Did you get it? Okay, try this one. How about that one? Did you get it? You know, the spirit is just offering us one movie after another. And now we've collected them all. We call it the Movie Watchers Guide to Enlightenment. Because if you really want to let the symbols reach your mind and show you what's in your heart, what you already know deep down inside, you need to recognize it. Then we need stepping-stone symbols.

Strengthen My Inner Connection with the Spirit with David Hoffmeister
Pretty early on in the beginning of the second chapter of A Course in Miracles, Jesus offers a prayer; 'I am here only to be truly helpful. I'm here to represent Him who sent Me. I do not have to worry about what to say or what to do, he who sent me will direct me, and I'm content to be wherever he wishes, knowing he goes there with me. I will heal as I let him teach me to heal.’
Whenever Jesus puts the words 'truly helpful' in a prayer, it means we have to unlearn many of our beliefs and thoughts, which the ego believes is truly helpful, and let the Holy Spirit replace them. Who knows what is truly helpful at any moment?

Accept the Gentle Unfolding of God's Plan with David Hoffmeister
Accept the gentle unfolding of God's plan. For most of us, when we're going through trials, challenges, and tribulations, we doubt there is a plan. We seriously doubt it. We think this is madness. The world is madness. My life is madness, and there's no way out. It seems like we're stuck in hell. And so when we have emotional difficulties, we feel, if there is a plan, I don't know what it is. And if there is a plan, it's a mystery to me. That is the human perspective. We like the idea of happiness. We like the idea of joy and freedom, but we only randomly seem to have access to it until we go into deep prayer and surrender. Then it's like, wow, maybe I've been wrong about the whole thing. And perhaps I need some help. I need help here. God help me! Let me accept the gentle unfolding of God's plan.

Stay Focused on My Spirit-Given Function with David Hoffmeister
God didn't create anything in time and space. God didn't create time. God didn't create space. God didn't create gravity. God didn't create motion, black holes, stars, and gasses. God didn't even create what we would call light that travels through time and space at lightspeed. He didn't create anything changing. Wow. Everything in this cosmos is changing. I've even seen billboards that say the only constant thing is change. No. Christ is changeless, and Spirit is changeless. God is changeless life. Eternal Love and Light, in reality, are changeless.

Trust that all is taken care of means no more need to plan and scheme. Your need for learning ends when you realize that all is taken care of. The ego has taught us fear. It tricked us into believing that we're frail and are at the mercy of time and space and all the laws of this world. But imagine if you were carefree and didn't have any attachments, and it didn't matter what was happening because all was taken care of, regardless of circumstances or situations! That would be like being reborn in the light of Christ by having an abiding, strong trust that all is taken care of. Devoting Your Life to Walking with Spirit in Everything
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit, Jesus taught in the Bible, and then it follows; Now I'm born again, which is the choice for the Holy Instant. Some Christians call this a conversion experience. Sometimes they will say, Do you remember the moment you were saved? But it's a glimpse. Salvation goes deeper than professing Jesus Christ as Lord in Word; you must purge every aspect of the ego or the devil. Every spot of Satan has to be seen for its nothingness to be saved. So it's not just professing a few words but devoting your life to walking with the Spirit in everything. What a beautiful decision when you have a vast glimpse of the glory of God's love and say, I'm going to follow you. Once you say yes to that, you're saying yes to following the Holy Spirit to follow Jesus's instructions.

The Only Way Out Is The Only Way In with Lisa Fair and Frances Xu
David Hoffmeister, Lisa Fair and Frances Xu met with the Interns at Living Miracles Mexico Center, La Casa De Milagros, for a morning session. There are many people that have tried to renounce the world in words. Stop the world, I want to get off now! They think if I just renounce it enough, it will disappear, but we really don't escape this world by renouncing it verbally. We have to value Christ so much that we welcome Christ to live in our hearts. And as we welcome Christ to live in our hearts, we start to realize that the value of the love that God has for us is more important than anything we could value in the world. We actually have to forgive and remember our Creator. Enjoy this beautiful session with touching comments and questions from the interns.
