“The Island” talk by David Hoffmeister
David Hoffmeister's commentary on the movie "The Island" reminds us about the awakening process right from the beginning when we are in a deceived, conforming state to when we realize that what was considered to be life was not really life at all. We are basically a society of men and women deceived from birth who need to discover our true identity. We need to join in relationships of purpose. Our training is to follow prompts and become highly intuitive and determined to overcome the ego's attempts at stopping us from exposing the darkness.
David exposes the ego's temptation to go off and build a haven for ourselves and point our attention to the Spirit's call to us to extend love to everyone by going deep into the mind and flip the master switch that dismantles the ego's illusion entirely. In the process, we learn to face the fear and allow the light to shine through, thereby freeing everyone as we open up to the light, even those who seem to be the enemy join in the celebration of innocence and freedom.

"Billy Graham - An Extraordinary Journey” Movie Workshop with commentary by David Hoffmeister
In the Movie Workshop commentary for the movie "Billy Graham - An Extraordinary Journey," David Hoffmeister emphasized that the workshops goal was to forgive Christianity and all Christians worldwide because the problem is not out there but in our mind. It's the mind that is looking through a darkened glass. Jesus is telling us, if you believe anything exists in and of itself, You don't understand it, because nothing exists in and of itself. Everything is part of a bigger hole. And when you try to break it apart and see it as if it means something, including the personality self, we are going to suffer. If we believe in independent people out there, we believe in the problem and not the solution, then you believe in separation and not the correction.Not one thought of this world has any reality in it because only eternity has reality. Time and space are the illusion. Today, we are gathered to transcend the distorted perception of time and space and come back to The Kingdom of Heaven within. To pure Spirit.

God Is Not Dead Movie Talk
If you ask people, if you had a choice to live a happy life, would you take it? If you had that choice to live a life that's peaceful and joyful, that's free from fear, free from anger, free from hatred, free from guilt, would you take it? That seems on the surface, like something you would want. Deep down everybody wants to be happy, It's just that there is a lot of confusion in a “split” mind, that doesn't know what it is and therefore doesn't know what anything is.
Jesus has assured us that when you don't know who you are, you don't know anything. Because who you are is the point of everything. And if you've forgotten your spiritual reality and you believe in the ego. Then, you believe in an imposter. An imposter, to spirit, lost in time and space, and wondering about, like a feather dancing in the wind. Wondering where you're going to find stability, meaning, purpose, and happiness.
If we want to know love, we would want to know God as ourselves as pure love. Jesus is telling us that love and life are synonymous and that life is eternal. Life is life in God, not in form.

“Knowing” Movie Talk
To understand the movie "Knowing" David explains; "There is no past, present and future construct. That was made up by the ego, to cover over the present moment, which is before time was. Before Abraham was, I am Jesus taught 2000 years ago. Jesus says in the course, we are reviewing mentally, what is already gone by. So of course, if you believe the body is life. If you believe in organic and biological life, If you believe the flesh is alive and not just a bunch of images. Then, you believe in the loss of life like in plane crashes, tsunamis, floods, and tragedy. But it's really the belief in the ego, which is a belief in separation from your creator that is the tragedy. It's a belief in your mind. It's not on the screen, because it made the screen. It made all those bodies, it literally peopled the world. It made everything of time and space as a defense against the truth of love. The truth of Christ, the truth of God. But I can tell you everything converges in the miracle because the miracle simply helps you see the false as false. Mr. Destiny
Today, our movie is called Mr destiny. And this movie stars, Jim Baluchi is the main character. Some of you might remember from the early days of Saturday Night Live John Belushi, was his very famous comedic, brother. And who started with Dan Aykroyd, not only in Saturday Night Live with, you know Gilda Radner and Jane Curtin and some of the early original cast members but then he, did a movie, John did called The Blues Brothers, which was pretty funny. So, this movie goes after the theme of a wish that things could be different. The belief that if my life had turned out differently, it would have been better. So, basically the premise underneath this movie today is we have juxtaposed. egos plan of salvation. Opposite of the Holy Spirit's plan of salvation. Very simply, the ego's plan of salvation is if something in the world would change if something in the world we’re different, If something in the world were better, then I would be happy.

Grace and Grit
Jesus has told us that A Course in Miracles does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is far beyond what can be taught, it just aims at removing the obstacles to the awareness of love's presence. I feel like that's a great mindset to have as you authentically, go through the healing process as you authentically dive in, you realize that there's a lot of uncovering a lot of exposing, and a lot of releasing. Today we take a look at a philosopher, author in this movie called Ken Wilber, and explore his relationship with his wife Treya, or Terry Gilliam, her nickname is Treya. Their relationship will be used as a mechanism for steep deep healing, and that is the value of all relationships is to release, what is believed in the unconscious mind. With A Course in Miracles, it's a fast track. Jesus uses relationship in conjunction with clearing away the unconscious mind so that the light can shine through.

Powder
This week we will be watching the movie Powder. This is a tremendous opportunity for us to learn from the experiences that the main character called Jeremy goes through, and also from the relationship of Lindsay and Jeremy, because it's, by any standard very unconventional, and there's a lot of opinions from those around, Lindsay and Jeremy, that they're feeling this genuine deep heart to heart connection of innocence and of deep love, and then the world, of course, is reacting to the appearances. This is what we're dealing with in our perceptions of time and space, we're dealing with the ego's judgments and comparisons, we're dealing with the ego's belief in competition, and, juxtaposing people and characters and things in this world, as if it's an external problem when really Jesus is telling us it's, just a misperception of the world. We have the bullies that that seem to bully Jeremy, and we have, the adults that are judging the relationship, the connection that Lindsey and Jeremy have. Ultimately, I think this movie goes all the way like it hits the grand slam home run. In the end, what but union with God and being lifted up to God, or carried back to God will ever satisfy us will ever bring us the joy and the happiness that eternal, love that we were created in.

Frozen
Welcome, everyone. Glad you can join in. Very excited about our movie for today, because we have an animated movie that's a classic Walt Disney movie. The movie has come through prayer, so we can talk about the themes of unworthiness and hiding my light. This movie is really going to help us get underneath that belief in unworthiness, that is a heavy feeling that kind of helpless feeling of not being enough or not being good enough that generates so much guilt. And really, unworthiness is just a form of guilt, and we want to lift that up to the light and be free of it. Sometimes I say that to forget God, and make up a substitute reality of time and space is the deepest form of amnesia, that we know it's amnesia forgetting the light of the kingdom of heaven, and making up a cover, or a veil to take the place in awareness of that light.

Pay it Forward
Oh my goodness we have such a healing movie. Today, I can just feel as the talk goes on your heart is just going to crack, wide open. And we know how wonderful that feels when your heart is open, and you feel the love just pouring through you and radiating to the whole world. The movie is called “Pay it Forward.” This movie is so profound and helpful for all of us because everyone who has come to time and space has come to, we can say, a dark planet. It is a place where death and disease and sickness, and war, seem to exist. And these things actually are the farthest thing from the truth, but to believe you exist on a planet with such things, is the height of this insanity. You can forget about dysfunctional families. This is this a dysfunctional planet. We, at times, tried to cover over or deny the darkness and tried to pursue distractions and things that will keep our mind off this darkness. Mary Baker Eddy used an interesting word for this world. She called it mesmerism it’s like hypnotism, it's like, dark hypnotism.
We're here today to have the Spirit lead us through a clinic on escaping darkness, lead us on an experiential journey of opening our heart up and learning to give the love away that we have, we have so much love in our heart, but as long as we hide it, as long as we cover it as long as we feel uncomfortable with the love or even distract away from the love, then we can't know the only thing that can ever be known, which is the love of God.

Jesus
Hi everyone. Welcome. You are in for a treat today, with our movie for today is, Jesus of Nazareth. Some of you may be familiar with this Franco Zeffirelli Jesus movie. It’s basically about six and a half hours long so we made a mini movie to show today for you of 2 hours.
The demonstration that Jesus was the symbol that Jesus is for our mind that warms our heart that draws us deeper into a remembrance of who we all are as the Christ, the perfect creation of an amazing, wonderful loving God.
The themes that we will look at in this movie are coming in, being a clear channel for Spirit, wanting peace of mind as my only goal and I don't need to belong to the world. That's a good one. So, this is a beautiful opportunity for us to really go deep into our own hearts, and experience Jesus's love and guidance, his, instructions for us to unwind from the ego belief system, to go through a dismantling of the image, the persona, the self concept that we have believed in is real, and let that be rinsed away washed away, it's like the, the self concept is like as a stain in the split mind. And that's why the mind seems to be split is because it believes in something that God didn't create. So, actually, when your life in the world starts to fall apart. You know, take heart, do not be sad, do not lament the world do not lament the self concept that the ego made, because it's not happy. It's a very fearful guilt ridden painful self concept, and we want it washed away. Jesus of course is like a great symbol of a Wayshower coming to us as an answer to a prayer of our heart to be happy to know true freedom to know joy. Jesus is the answer to that prayer in our heart. And that's where there's tremendous gratitude for that answer.
