We begin today’s show with “Owl’s Song”, a lovely, chiming summery folk song driven forward by Mariam’s 8-string ukulele. “Hear It In The River” begins with a native flute fanfare from Mariam and a drum-accompanied poem that builds into a jazzy, progressive groove. Next up we feature a trio of excellent original songs from Randy Rooney, the groovy pop song “You Belong”, the beautiful and stately southern rock of “Cold Breeze” and the funky, upbeat “Something New”. Mariam returns to the lead vocal mic with the deeply mystical trance groove “I Am With The Light” before Randy presents a final song, the progressive-rock “Peak”, a fine performance lit up by Randy’s fiery acoustic guitar work. “Lets Climb The Mountains Of Life” closes the show with a hopeful, assertive raga rock groove that features an inspiring lyric from Mariam.
