Rebecca has been a Silva UltraMind trainer since 2004. She has a passion for teaching the techniques of José Silva because they have worked for her and have been working for millions of people since the 1960s. Rebecca has been a student of metaphysics and spirituality since she was introduced to the art of creative visualization in 1967. Over the years, she has immersed herself in dynamic meditation, holistic healing and metaphysical solutions, and has delved into the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, Ernest Holmes, Gurdjieff, and Mary Baker Eddy, among others. She teaches the Silva UltraMind System course because it gives people the simple dynamic meditation techniques they can use on a daily basis to improve their lives on every level. Because she herself uses the UltraMind System with consistent results, she is able to teach with conviction the principles which underlay this system, and show others how to get results in the real world. Rebecca’s vast experience as both a student and teacher has inspired her to dedicate her life to bringing metaphysical learning and healing into the lives of as many people as she can. Following in the footsteps of giants like José Silva himself; her life’s mission is helping the world “wake up.” Currently a resident of Westport, Massachusetts, Rebecca teaches the Silva UltraMind System throughout the New England area, as well as worldwide. She also instructs coaches and course graduates privately on a limited basis.

Meditation is being recommended by medical researchers from Harvard Medical School, Mass General Hospital, the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation and even the US Department of Health and Human Services to name a few…
In this show we will introduce concepts and studies regarding meditation practices and its positive effects on your health and happiness.
We will be discussing everything from the different types of meditative practices; the health benefits that result from this ancient technique and the way it can affect your life, your relationships and the world.
Let's not limit the discussion though. All the great benefits and techniques, as well as, actual guided meditations and other methods will be practiced.
Why is Meditation so important to our health?
• New research shows that meditation can physically change and strengthen the brain significantly helping those with memory loss and Alzheimer’s.
• Findings of a study confirmed that daily meditation can improve cognitive function were conducted at the University of Pennsylvania and have been sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (www.alzheimersprevention.org).
• Numerous studies show that 12 minutes per day for 8 weeks results in significant improvements to brain function.
• Physicians have increasingly started prescribing meditation instead of pills to benefit their patients. A Harvard Medical School report released in May found that more than 6 million Americans had been recommended meditation and other mind-body therapies by conventional health care providers.
• Several studies suggest changes through meditation can make you happier and less stressed.
• Meditation can help you control your eating habits and even reduce chronic pain, all the while without taking prescription medication.
• Some scientists believe that in a generation, Americans will see meditation as being as essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle as diet and exercise.
