On this new season of the Make Mental Health Matter Show with host Kelli Melissa Reinhardt, is live in-studio with special guest Stacey Sanders.
Little bit about Stacey’s story:
When I was 33 I became extremely depressed due to life-changing circumstances. Years of therapy and appropriate medications saved my life. I now work with current and former youth in foster care and their mental health is a priority. We offer support through artistic expression.
Short bio: Stacey is the Founder and Executive Director of Elevating Connections, a nonprofit that supports siblings separated in foster care and raises youth voices through the arts. Stacey also has lived experience battling depression and anxiety. Stacey is a firm believer that it takes community and authentic human connections for true healing to be accomplished. Stacey recently lost her mother which has put her on a whole new mental health journey. Stacey truly believes that there is light in every day!
