Retreat to Peace with Catherine Daniels
Catherine Daniels: Growing up Living off the LAND
Today join us as Catherine as she shares her insight about living off the land with her grandparents. Her grandparents were part of the World War II generation and provided all the knowledge that was needed in case of a major power outage, food shortage or natural disaster. In this episode, Catherine shares everything from using your home as a resource, how to make a do-it-yourself laundry soap that will save you hundreds of dollars in one year (for her, 800 dollars to be exact), Hardtack recipe, how to make an oil lamp from your basic household items, as well as ideas of a generation that knows how to be self sustaining. Have your pen and paper handy, you will want to take notes in this jammed packed episode.
Next week, join Catherine as she brings back Claudia Baumert, what her grandparents taught her and "size inflation”. It's not what you think. Don't miss this one and make sure you have a pen and paper handy to take notes. You will want them.
