Expanding Boundaries: Carolyn Lebanowski

Fiftieth Episode: Carolyn began her professional career in retail and grew to become an experienced and respected senior level executive with expertise in strategic development, organizational communication, and executive coaching. After nearly three decades in the corporate world, she was ready for change ‚ professional and personal — and found the most challenging, enriching, and rewarding work of her life as a Strategic Business Leader for nonprofit spiritual institutions. That gave her the opportunity to fuse the professional and the personal, aligning her business acumen with her spiritual identity and her passion for developing human potential — in her colleagues, in her community, and in herself.

A native of Houston, Texas, Carolyn and her husband have expanded their geographic boundaries and now reside in Cascais, Portugal. Since retiring, she also expanded the boundaries of her writing from letters to her children, to journaling, to writing for publication with a focus on raw, authentic, and lived experience — to explore, to express, and to make sense of the pain and joy, the struggles and triumphs of life. In all her endeavors, she champions connection, integrity, and radical positivity. Her most recent publication is, Your Light Shines Brightly: The Story of You.
