Rosanne Norris Talks About Finding Her Son’s Picture in Sonia Rinaldi’s Photos
Rosanne Groover Norris would rather NOT have been one of the stars of Sandra Champlain’s and Sonia Rinaldi’s wonderful new movie, Rinaldi! But her son, Lee, is now in spirit, and her spotting him in Sandra’s photos transmitted from the station in the afterlife was of course an exciting moment for Rosanne! She is the mother of five children, with one now in spirit, and also a grandmother of six, and she considers them all to be her best accomplishment in life. In January of 2018, Rosanne’s middle child, a thirty-year-old son named Lee, succumbed to an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning in his home along with his dog, Buddy. This devastating event left Rosanne in despair, and she was left to figure out her new reality for herself. She read books and listened to podcasts, and she was ultimately led to Helping Parents Heal, where she now is an affiliate leader and a caring listener.  
Rosanne is also the author of beLEEve, A Journey of Loss, Healing, and Hope, which was ranked number one in several categories, in both the U.S. as well as internationally.  She is a contributing author to the anthology, Ordinary Oneness, The Simplicity of Everyday Love, Grace, and Hope. In addition, she is contributing a chapter to Camille Dan’s upcoming anthology, which has just been published. Growing a Community Food SystemGuest Bevan Linsley, Executive Director, Aquidneck Community TableEnvironmental health, food security and community resilience are interconnected issues.  One of the most sensible solutions for addressing these concerns is to organize a community food system.  This involves identifying strong partnerships within the community, advocating for policies that support local growers, establishing distribution points to make food accessible to all, and creating community gardening spaces.  Aquidneck Community Table is a powerful example of organization.  Known locally as ACT, it manages three farmers markets and over 80 community garden plots across the island. Miracles Are Involuntary with David Hoffmeister and Frances Xu
Once we truly hear the call from God and recognize it, we want to give ourselves entirely to it. Then our path is laid out right in front of us, and we feel involuntarily called to give everything we have to this calling. I will turn away from all distractions and share my life, my mind, and everything that I have to follow what is laid out for me. I do not choose the path. I do not choose the form of the curriculum, but I know it is going in the direction that's going to get me closer and closer to God. The distractions are in the mind and not in form because we always look inside first before we look outside. Everything that seems to play out is always because we're already looked inside.
You are going to quiet down and listen to that small voice inside and learn to follow it, this very, very, very different voice. This will go on for the rest of your life because you want the rest of your life to be happy. Happy in every moment of the day, happy every day of the year, every year of your life, as long as you still believe in linear time and earthly life. If you want happiness to be total, then focus on this small still voice inside that will lead you there.

Gaea Star Crystal #502 is an hour of visionary acoustic improv music featuring the Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro on vocals, Native flute, 4- and 8-string ukulele, harmonica and Celtic harp, Bob Sherwood on piano, Craig Harris on congas and Native drums and Chefar adsfadsf on flute and bongos.  Recorded live in mid-September 2022 at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts, today’s installment begins with the impressionistic, floating tone poem “Pot Of Gold”, an abstract meditation driven by Mariam’s gently flowing Celtic harp and beautiful vocal.  “I Am The Fire” is a gorgeous, Eastern European flavored song with evocative flute from Chefar and a lovely vocal from Mariam and “Sweet Serenity” is a beautifully chorded song with fine contributions from the whole band supporting Mariam’s mysterious, inspired lyric.  “May Miracles Unfold” begins as a blues driven by Mariam’s chiming 8-string ukulele before taking an unexpected turn into gorgeous, floating balladry with more lyrical flute work from Chefar above Craig’s steady conga work.  “Rising” keeps the blues promise teased at in the former song with down home harmonica work from Mariam over Bob’s uptown blues turnarounds.  “May We All Be Ready To Greet The Day With Love” concludes today’s show in a sprawling, bucolic raga underpinned by Mariam’s shruti box and lovely flute passages from Chefar in a piece that ranges far and wide, visiting myriad styles and moods to end today’s show on a creative highpoint.
