Recorded live at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts in early July of 2026, today’s show begins with the magical “Life Is Good And Sweet And Caring (Most Of The Time)”, a mesmerizing ballad with soaring Native flute and vocals from Mariam and “Precious Moments To Share” is a gorgeous pop/folk number with chiming ukulele and an inspired piano figure topped with Mariam’s joyful vocal. “Luminous Light Behind The Clouds” is an austerely beautiful, harmonically modern and inventive neoclassic piece touched with electronics and featuring a mysterious, winding vocal from Mariam and “Feeling The Beauty” is an emotional ballad to the things we value the most deeply set to steady, skipping congas, exotic kalimba and yearningly composed piano that winds themes from Joni Mitchell’s “Blue” with rich extrapolations and inventions. “Let’s All Call Home” is another powerful, harmonically rich ballad featuring soaring, emotional vocals and Native flute from Mariam above a tapestry of bittersweet minor piano motifs and “Dance With Me Oh Sweet One” is a richly powerful piece full of tempestuous mystery built around Mariam’s eldritch mandolin and steady, full-voiced congas. Mariam strums her acoustic guitar for today’s powerful closer, the sweet, gently passionate “Even In The Rain”, a rich folk song with powerful contributions from the ensemble.

Sally Huss, author and illustrator of more than 100 books for children and adults, former Wimbledon semifinalist, creator of Happy Musings, and lifelong artist dedicated to bringing more happiness into the world.” 
Sally Moore Huss, former American tennis player grew up in Bakersfield, California. She won several national titles and was part of the 1959 Wightman Cup team. In 1958, she won the Wimbledon junior championship and made it to the women’s singles semi-finals of the 1959 Wimbledon Championships.
“Bright and happy,” “light and whimsical” have been the catch phrases attached to the writings and art of Sally Huss for over 40 years. Sweet images dance across all of her creations, whether in the form of children’s books, paintings, wallpaper, ceramics,baby bibs, purses, clothing, or her King Features syndicated newspaper panel “Happy Musings. Sally creates children’s books to uplift the lives of children.
